When it comes to more sensitive yet intensely discussed issues, like immigration, homophobia, racism, domestic abuse, it becomes easy for designers and creative practitioners to forget the mass of people in discussion is comprised of individuals, who, even when connected by common factors, have entirely unique experiences and situations. Refugees, for example, have been brought up to the collective conversation so much, it sometimes feels like this classification could become dehumanising.
The purpose of Fragile Stories was to emphasize the importance of sensitivity when discussing groups of people in difficult situations, and not to forget that humaneness is an essential quality for a creative who works with and for human beings.
